Hello everyone.

This is Lara. I'm updating for Asha because she's doing all my projects and homework for me. Asha always does my projects. She even did my biography board for me. Now she sent me all the information I need to make a food web. She's probably superhuman.

The other day, Asha gave me a really cool shirt that said Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. And I love it.

One time I tried to drink a candle, but luckily, Asha saved me from it. I am very thankful.

Also this one time, Asha helped me figure out the difference between Hitler and Napoleon, because I'm too stupid to know these things.

In conclusion, Asha is probably my favorite person because she's my friend even though I'm incredibly and unbearably stupid.

Happy Christmas (War is Over)

its been forever since I posted....

so, it's that time of year again........most people are thinking about the holidays. And sure, I am, but there's something else on my mind too......

You see, next Friday is the 26th anniversary (for lack of a better word) of John Winston Ono Lennon's death.

His death being so close to Christmas time, it always makes me think of his song "Happy Christmas (war is over)" In the song, he says, "war is over, if you want it." He really truly believed it was that simple. And so do I. I just wish everyone else thought the same way. I was thinking about all this today, and then I thought, why is it that people like Lennon, and Gandhi, and Martin Luther King jr, who are all about peace and love and equality, get shot to death? Why are some people so blind, so cruel?

so anyway, on a happier (for lack of a better word) note, my mom's pregnant with a boy. well, they're 95% sure anyways. It had better be, I dont want another sister! (i love you Chaya).

ummm, so its been a long freaking time since I updated.

firstly, I would like to say, happy belated birthday John Lennon.

Secondly, like megan said, , my mom's pregnant. I'm not so sure how I feel about said pregnancy. I guess its a good thing, you know. but seeing as I'm gonna be 16 years older than it (haha, it) and also seeing as I already have 3 siblings, It's not gonna be so fun. But, whatever.......i dunno.

thirdly, I would just like to say, that EVERYONE should see Eric Clapton once in their life. Before he stops touring! I said in an earlier blog that I would sell my first born child to see him live, haha. But I just kinda told my dad he was coming, and he said "Oh my god!! did you buy tickets yet?!?!?!" It was amazing. Robert Cray did an opening set for him, which was absolutely sick, he's one of the best blues guitarists still around, by far . And Derek Trucks was with him too, and we all know how good he is with a slide . There was also this other dude, I could never hear his name every time Clapton said it. But he played Hendrix style, it was pretty awesome. So they opened up with "Pretending" and closed with "Cocaine" and then did an encore with "Crossroads." It was so amazing, I will never forget it. And luckily, my ears we'ren't ringing too bad afterwards . When I saw Queen in March, they were ringing for like, 3 days.

so, anyway, not much else going on.....just school. I pretty much have no life. it blows. hard.

homecomming for her is on the 28th....

soooo, I'm in Indiana now.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was basically amazing. It changed my life. They had an awesome Bob Dylan exhibit and also some stuff on Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. They had a whole section for just John Lennon .They also had a section for the Beatles, and for the Rolling Stones. Everyone should go there atleast once in their lifetime."Our children, and our children's children, will learn about 2 things in school-- rock, and roll." Cedar Point (the "roller coaster capitol of the world") was pretty cool I guess. We hardly got to do anything there 'cause it was over 100 degrees every day. It's kinda cool though, its one of those amusment parks with its own resorts and everthing, and it was right on lake Erie.

So, tomorrow, We have tickets for the King Tut exhibit at the Feild Museum. That should be pretty cool. And then I think we're just gonna walk around Chicago (yay). Hopefully it won't be so hot.......

Beatlefest is in one week!!!!!
